Music retailers are not happy with the Kanye and Jay-Z’s label with the decision of selling exclusive versions of their Watch The Throne album to only iTunes and BestBuy.
iTunes will be the first to sell the album after August 8th, with the leaked single ‘Otis’ available as a download for customers who pre-order.
Fans will be able to get the exclusive Deluxe edition CD from BestBuy, starting August 12th thru the 23rd for $12.40.
According to other music stores and retailers they are protesting the plan calling it a “short-sighted strategy”.
A open letter was penned to Jay-Z and Kanye explaining the problem.
