My assignment for Detroit’s Summer Jamz 14 was to shadow “Detroit’s Most Wanted” winners Dreatown and Lawson and their experience at the event. Their story is one of creative hustle and grind which propelled them to the number 1 spot of the competition. Along with them on this ride was Misstee Merritt and Tatu Fressh who provided back up vocals to the duo’s winning song titled “City of Gold”. This group is really in love with their city and although it may not be publicized everyday the city definitely gives love back. So without further a do this is the experience of Dreatown and Lawson at Summer Jamz 14!
Special Thanks to Dre aka Detroit’s Most Wanted for not only coming to the event but also giving support and blessings to the future of Detroit’s music scene. Very classy move and much respect is given to him for that. This is truly how hip-hop should be moving through EVERY CITY! Salute to all involved!
