One of the most interesting phenomenon I think I’ve ever witnessed has been Oprah Winfrey‘s uncanny ability over the years to make everything she touches turn to gold.  I mean she’s not an expert at anything.  She’s never been anything but a talk show host.  And yet, her endorsement can make an unknown mom and pop business go public in an afternoon.

But relationship advice?  Is this not the woman who would on the surface seem to have the most bazaar relationship known to man with her boy-toy Stedman.  But low and behold, Beyonce credits her with giving her the most sound relationship advice during her very private courtship with Jay-Z.

So it comes as no surprise that during a recent interview with U.K.’s “Fabulous” magazine that while openly disusing her love life, Alicia Keys stopped short of discussing her fiance, Swizz Beatz ex-wife, Mashonda, citing advice given to her by relationship maven, Oprah Winfrey.

“Oprah Winfrey is the wisest woman I know. She’s like my big, clever, older sister. A while ago she gave me one piece of advice, which was to never get drawn into talking about that sort of thing. All I know is that right now my life is really, really good.”

While I would beg to say that Alicia probably knows a woman or two wiser than Oprah who can argue with the results.  She’s the richest woman in America by far and her paper is long and starting mature like a fine wine.  While Oprah may not have personally experienced enough to provide the wisdom for her young proteges , she’s sure interviewed enough people to know enough.  I guess that’s why they say the rich get richer.  Having money gives you the opportunity to surround yourself with money and you’ll lean how to make more.  I guess the same can be true about wisdom.
