An Oregon Community College, Umpqua Community College, was the site of a horrid tragedy yesterday, claiming the life of 13. It appeared to be a hate crime as the shooter, Chris Harper Mercer, singled out those of christian faith and murdered them. President Barack Obama delivered a speech about the shooting and the frequency of having to deliver these sorts of speeches:
Hopefully Mr. President’s words didn’t fall on deaf ears and our nation starts to turn things around.
