Our community is flooded with all types of turmoil and separate sets of issues that plague us daily. In a world of many bad role models, it’s important to highlight those who are working to make a difference in their communities. The male influence is very important to the revitalization of our communities and we’re highlighting some great role models within our community with Brian James’ “Classic Man Mondays”. This week’s Classic Man is Dajuan Radford, here is the letter that was written to me:
Dear Brian’s World,
I would like nominate Dajaun Radford.I havent known Dajaun long but over the past year I have seen his tireless effort to transform his community. He is basketball coach, mentor, and community activist that will stop at nothing to save our youth. He is currently working on creating a 5013c organization in hopes that he can deter young men from choosing the path he once choose.When my 13 year old son was shot last year by a stray bullet, he instantly connected with me.Nobody better in Indy is suited for this award than Mr. RadfordDeAndra Yates
Without question, this week’s “Classic Man” is Dajuan Radford! From the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you so much for your tireless efforts within our community and continuing to be a solid role model to our young men. Please continue to make a difference within our community!
