The internet exploded today after a video surfaced of another shady interaction between police and the community they were sworn to protect.
The story kicked off last week on June 9th, as a group of African American teens were asked to leave the Fairfield Aquatics Center because one of them did not have the proper swim attire. The incident then escalated as police had to be summoned to help restrain and control the spiraling situation.
The family asked for a refund from paying for entry into the aquatics center and things got out of hand after they were denied the refund.
Police ended up arresting 4 people; 2 adults and 2 kids. The responding officers also pepper sprayed a child, putting her in the hospital while breaking another’s jaw(& rib) who is also in the hospital tending to her injuries.
The family is set to appear in court and says that police were in the wrong mentioning that they had police evidence to back up their accounts. That video surfaced today, check it out below and you be the judge. Were police acting in good faith or Were the police using unnecessary force?
