Goodbye, Christopher Breaux. Hello, Frank Ocean.
It’s official: Frank Ocean has legally changed his name to, wait for it, Frank Ocean. The “Thinkin’ Bout You” singer initially filed to legally change his name over a year ago, but due to some driver’s license issues, a California judge pressed pause on the process.
Since then, Frank’s gotten his license obligations worked out and now he can live as Mr. Ocean on stage and in real life.
In other Frank Ocean news, the 27-year-old singer/songwriter is readying his long-awaited channel ORANGE follow-up, which is rumored to be released later on this year.
If Frank doesn’t release his album by mid-summer, it’ll be a whopping three years since he unveiled his debut LP.
