Kendrick Lamar dropped his highly anticipated sophomore album, “To Pimp a Butterfly,” one week early, surprising fans across the globe, including Kanye West.

Young Thug Confirms Upcoming Project Will Be Called ‘Carter 6′
It’s been nearly a year since Young Thug first mentioned that he might name his freshman LP “Carter 6″ in tribute to Lil Wayne’s iconic series of albums, and on Tuesday the Atlanta rapper seemed to confirm that he does indeed plan to use the name for a project; though it’s not clear if it’ll be for his debut album or simply another mixtape.
