This Young Money vs. Cash Money battle is taking a turn for the worse.

Lil’ Wayne is not only suing Birdman for an $8 million advance he says he is owed from his unreleased Carter V album, but he is also taking him to court to make sure that when he jumps the Cash Money ship that the whole Young Money crew is going with him. It’s reported that Wayne plans to sue Cash Money to make sure his artists remain on his label.

Young Money’s roster includes Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil’ Twist, Christina Milian and the label’s president Mack Maine.

Those these artists are under contract on Young Money but their distribution deals are through Cash Money; therefore, the distribution deal may have to be handled in the courts as well.
