Plies Pays For A Young Lady To Go To College (thumbnail)

Plies’s decade in the rap game, in which he navigated through his native Florida’s underground, ascended briefly to mainstream fame via two Gold-selling albums, and has since returned to the Southern rap mixtape circuit—immediately calls to mind one word: “realness.”

In his decade with the rap game, there are the titles of his first three albums: The Real Testament, Definition of Real, and Da REAList. Then there are the mixtapes, like 100% Real, Da Last Real Nigga Left, and the recent followup, Da Last Real Nigga Left 2.

Coming off the release of Da Last Real Nigga Left 2 mixtape in November, Plies has already started cooking up his Purple Heart album. On Wednesday morning, Plies took the time to chat with The Morning Heat about his upcoming music, his life right now and he even dropped his new joint and radio-friendly track, “Find You, where Dade County MC joined forces with K.Camp. It’s safe to say that they disappoint the ladies as the song includes a lot of slow grinding is on deck when this drops in the club.
