Listen to Kanye’s ode to North West, “Only One” here.

New year, new music.

Kanye West was noticeably quiet towards the end of 2014, leaving fans wondering when they’d get their next dose of Yeezus. Well, the wait is over. Ye released “Only One” featuring the legendary Paul McCartney today and if you haven’t guessed by the tender title, it’s a tribute to North West.

‘Ye sings (with the help of auto tune) through the perspective of his late mother Donda West, who passed away in 2007. “I talked to God about you, he said he sent you an angel / And look at all that he gave you / You asked for one and you got two.”

Kim posted the cover art of the “808 & Heartbreaks” like ballad on Instagram with the caption, “Everyone asks me what my favorite Kanye song is. It’s Only One. Kanye felt like his mom was singing thru him to our daughter. This song makes me cry every time I hear it. He released at midnight on iTunes. “Only One” by Kanye West Featuring Paul McCartney. “Only Me” can be streamed free on Kanye’s site or for purchase on iTunes.
