Don’t expect August Alsina to answer any questions about Trey Songz any time soon.
This beef started with August Alsina’s hit single “I Luv This S***” when he enlisted Trey Songz and Chris Brown for the remix.
According to Rap-Up interview, Alsina says Trey reached out initially about the record, and revealed he was f***ing with it. However, something turned sour between the two, as Alsina then said, “I don’t really f**k with Trey right now. We don’t get along right now.” The New Orleans native continued, “We ain’t on the same page. He did some other s*** and we just don’t rock.”
He explained and alluding that Trey is fake, “Like I tell people all the time, show me that you’re this person on day one… You should always be that person. We were supposed to have a show together and it just went left ’cause I can’t deal with niggas’ egos and attitudes ’cause I’m just a real nigga comin’ through and I’m rockin’.”
“Once ni***s go to talkin’ a certain type of way, that s**t ain’t gon’ fly with me and that’s all that was and I just had to not do the show ’cause I can’t stand on side of a ni*** if I really got something that I feel in my heart. It just ain’t gon’ work, so I just had to dip and we didn’t do it, but it is what it is.”
Yesterday on BET’s 106 & Park, August was asked about Trey and his response was not a kind one to the interview question
