Just weeks after news broke that Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon are leading separate lives, the singing diva has admitted that their busy work schedules have kept them apart.
In fact, Carey told Andy Cohen on Sunday night’s Watch What Happens Live that while undergoing her troubled pregnancy with their twins Moroccan and Monroe, now 2, Cannon was rarely around.
Responding to a fan’s question, Carey, 43, ruled out having more children with Cannon.
She explained,
“I had preeclampsia; I had gestational diabetes, a really difficult pregnancy and I was alone most of the time.”
Seeming to realize how that sounded, Carey quickly added, raising her voice,
“We love Nick, but he’s working!
“He’s the hardest working man in show business. Hi, Nick!”
she said, smiling and waving at the camera and blowing her husband a kiss.
