Aahhh…the life of a mom can be such an amazing experience, and a stressful one as well. Being a mother is challenging to some and even intimidating to a few. For those who aren’t mothers, imagine your life with one child. Now add a couple more (including those who aren’t your own), a job, a relationship, and your dreams! Scared yet? Don’t be! The life of a mother, although difficult at times, isn’t impossible loves.

I’m a mother of 3 – my son JaShon is 10, daughter Jayde is 3 (soon to be 4), and little Justin is 1. I also am “mom” to two beautiful little girls who aren’t actually mine, but I love and care for them as if they were my own. I am mommy, hear me roar! I sometimes reflect on how life was pre-children, and let me tell you, I had it made! I had a steady social life, I could run to the store with no worry, and I never had to turn down anything due to not having a sitter. Well those days are long gone, but guess what? I wouldn’t change a thing! Have I had to put things on hold? Yes. Do I miss out on some things? Yes. However, I have so much joy and happiness now; a joy that I was always searching for, but could never seem to find. Life changes with children, but it most certainly doesn’t end.

Kudos to the moms out there, especially the working women! Kudos to those who maintain themselves, their children, their men, their job, and their happiness. We certainly wear many hats, but believe me they can (and will) ALL fit, comfortably at that. With communication, patience, time for you, and an occasional glass of wine (smile), you can do it and do it well! So I raise my lipgloss to you ladies for your tireless efforts to keeping your sexy, taking care of home, and making that almighty dollar. You are a woman phenomenally! Phenomenal woman, that’s you – and me!
