After a few days of blasting rappers, a break-up with Atlantic Records, and dropping a few “alleged” sexual partner names on Twitter Gucci Mane, releases a new project. Could this Twitter traffic just a publicity stunt to promote his new album?
Amid his somewhat difficult to decipher tweets early this morning (Sept. 11), the Atlanta rapper revealed that he was releasing, ‘Diary of a Trap God.’ He apparently did this one “4 da hood” and decided that, despite tweeting that it would be on iTunes, it was going to be available for a free download.
Minutes later, Gucci sent out a message sporting a Send-Space link for ‘Diary of a Trap God.’ It was quickly scooped up by mixtape site Dat Piff and now the entire 23-track monolith is streaming. The album boasts features from frequent collaborators OJ Da Juiceman, Plies, Chief Keef, and (surprisingly given their public fall out) Waka Flocka Flame.
