Before the big game gets underway, the “Girl on Fire” will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” in front of millions at Super Bowl XLVII at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on February 3.
Her “Put It in a Love Song” collaborator Beyoncé will headline the halftime show, which will feature an appearancefrom her Destiny’s Child bandmates. She previously sang thenational anthem at the 2004 Super Bowl in her hometown of Houston.
Alicia is gearing up for her “Set the World on Fire” tour with Miguel, which kicks off in Seattle and wraps up in Chicago.
