Legendary pop/R&B singer Lionel Richie is about to catch a beat down worse than his ex-wife put on him years ago. Richie owes the government over a million dollars in back taxes. He failed to file in 2010 and Uncle Sam is about to lay the smack down on dude’s wallet.

The “All Night Long” singer was hit with a tax lien to the tune of $1,130,609.11. If he doesn’t start breaking the government off their piece, they’re going after all his assets. Lionel Richie has responded to any of these reports, but he’s worth $200 milli so finding a little over a million shouldn’t be hard to come up with.
