Roc Nation’s flagship artist J. Cole is dropping the final video from his debut album. The final single is one of the better tunes from the album, “Sideline Story.“ “Sideline Story” has a visual that focuses on Cole’s journey after releasing his first album and the steps he’s taking to record his sophomore effort. Directed by Axel Laramee and Adam Roy, J. Cole’s latest video encapsulates his persona well. He’s a guy born in the struggle and determined to not be poor for the rest of his life.
