T.I.‘s comments to Diddy on the microphone in an Atlanta night club after the BET Hip Hop Awards grabbed a lot of headlines, because it appeared that Tip was putting the Ciroc boy in check. But apparently, that wasn’t the intention.
T.I. spoke about the incident yesterday (October 3rd) and explained, “I was trying to diffuse the situation to keep it from becoming something.” His main concern was to stay out of trouble, and T.I. stated his comments to Diddy were made “out of love, not to check him or belittle him.”
Tip added that he respects Diddy.
