Shadow and Act reports that the film’s executive producer Adrian Taylor says the film will be shot primarily in New Orleans and Chicago. There’s even talk of Diahann Carroll and Michael Clark Duncan joining the cast.
The team behind the project will be relying on the Christian audience to make it a success. Taylor explained, “We’re using the same business model for marketing as was used with The Passion of the Christ.”
And the film may screen at the Cannes Film Festival: “They’ve offered for us to do a screening there. We can either enter it as competition, or we can have it in the non-competition and premiere it, if it’s edited. It’s got to be ready by April 6 for next year’s Cannes.”
So see? Fantasia is eating neck bones for the cause, not for the creation in her tummy.
