The hip-hop heavyweight Lil Wayne tells MTV News he would love to one day follow in the footsteps of artists like Elton John and Celine Dion and land a regular gig in Las Vegas.  Weezy says being Vegas’ first rap act is definitely part of his “plan,” although he doesn’t want to make the move until “later on down the line.”  Fans all over the country will be getting another opportunity to see Wayne perform this summer.  He’s kicking off the second leg of his “I Am Music Two Tour” next month.  Lil Wayne says he’d like to perform “forever,” adding that even when he’s 50 he will probably be looking for some tour dates.
Lil Wayne’s “I Am Music Two Tour” will begin on July 13th with a show in Hartford, Connecticut.  The rap star will also be dropping his new album, “Tha Carter Four,” on August 29th.
