(indystar) The Indiana Pacers have fired Jim O’Brien as coach after three-plus seasons.O’Brien had a 121-169 record as coach of the Pacers. The Pacers have called a 4 p.m. press conference today.The Pacers thought about firing O’Brien last week after going 0-4 on their West Coast road trip. Assistant Frank Vogel is expected to coach the team for the remainder of the season, but Larry Bird will have some say on who plays according to a source.
