It hasn’t taken rap superstar T.I. long to grow tired of prison.  In a statement posted on his website, a frustrated T.I. says he would have been better off doing one long sentence than continually going in and out of a jail cell.  He states, quote, “I’d have been better off doing a five to ten year bid one time than going in time and time again for days, weeks, and months for the last 15 years of my life.”  Tip says he used to be motivated to succeed by his family and fans, but notes that it’s time he start doing things for himself.  He adds, quote, “I’ve come all this way and made it through so much hell to let it go down like this!”  To read T.I.’s entire message, visit TrapMuzik.com.

T.I. is currently serving an eleven-month sentence for a probation violation.  He was arrested back in September after Los Angeles police found the drug ecstasy in his vehicle.  T.I. was on probation at the time for attempting to illegally purchase firearms in 2007.  Fans can pick up T.I.’s new album, “No Mercy,” on December 7th.
